Memorial Day Weekend Picks 2016

It's Memorial Day Weekend, which means many Willamette Valley wineries are throwing open their doors to offer you their unique tasting experience.  Since there are so many events going on, we thought we would simply offer up a few of our favorite picks, by category.

Join St. Innocent's founder, winemaker, and president, Mark Vlossak, in St. Innocent's wine cellar for a special tasting of St. Innocent wines, alongside charcuterie and hand-selected cheeses. Sat. & Sun.

St. Innocent will also be offering their traditional Memorial Day tasting of 6 wines in their tasting room all weekend.  Details.

There are a few open-by-appointment-only wineries that are open to walk-ins this weekend.  Our favorites?  Shea, Stag Hallow, and Brick House.

Bonus, Shea and Stag Hallow are pouring futures, something that is becoming less and less common in the Willamette Valley.

Also, check out Winter's Hill Estate's sit down barrel tasting for more futures fun.  RSVP also required.

Gourmet picnic prepared by a winery chef?  Adelsheim is the place to be.

Pizza sound good?  Check out Hyland and Apolloni (Apolloni is also offering gelato and Soleggio vertical tasting.)
